Quizlet Sets for Our Japan, Our World

I made sets on Quizlet for each chapter of my textbook. Altogether there are 1484 items.

Some items are repeated in different sets because teachers might choose to omit certain chapters.

The sets are organized by chapter, so you can only use the ones you need. To make these, I ran each chapter through a vocabulary profiler. I ignored words in the most common 0-1k list. Anything above that I considered for inclusion. I cut words like computer (likely known) or taro (too rare to be useful). I did keep some rare words if they were especially relevant for the topic of a chapter (like demographics).

I have also attached a spreadsheet for your use that has details about whether a particular item is in the 1k-2k level, the academic word list (AWL), or is beyond the 2k level AND not on the AWL.

Feel free to share this with anyone you think might find it useful!
