Stephen will be joining the Okayama JALT event on December 20, 2025 at NDSU, where he will share his experience developing materials for the upcoming academic year. This presentation will focus on the textbook he wrote for the NDSU Sociology Department, and also the students in the new Global Studies Department. The textbook is available on Amazon, but the ISBN will be changing before long as the book will be re-released under RealELT branding. Stephen Shrader lives in Japan, where he teaches English to university students. His primary interest is using content from the field of intercultural communication for language teaching, and he is also interested in parallels between learning a new language and learning how to participate in the discourse of a professional community.
